I think my daughter claim me as a dependent will I still get my $1200 stimulus check?

  Somebody claims you as a dependent will you still get your stimulus check? And if there's a second check if I disqualified for the first will I get that one?

  Hi Charles Morganti. According to this article on Forbes: "If someone claimed you as a dependent on their federal tax return, then unfortunately, you won’t get a stimulus check." However, the person who does claim you might get a payment on your behalf, depending on your circumstances. We suggest checking with the person involved.

  Hello Jeremy Jones,There are many Americans still waiting for their stimulus checks. You can use the Get My Payment tool on the IRS site to check the status of your payment and get a projected deposit date. This site is updated daily and has more information on stimulus payments should you need it.

  My husband still has not received his 1st stimulus check and he checks the IRS site because he is still waiting on both his 18 and 19 tax return which he had to mail in and did so before COVID-19. What's he to do?
