Does anybody recommend how to budget properly? 
I've never created a budget plan before, they never taught us in school...

Having no prior skill the best tool I found was 50/30/20 calculator. It broke down a general budget for me based off my paycheck.

  I don't have specific tips other than keeping track of everything you spend money on for a week or even a month, and then reviewing the list to see what you actually spent the most money on.

  And YES, it is so bad that we don't get taught basic money management skills early on - and then as adults we are expected to just know how to manage money effectively. Big miss for sure!
