There are still a lot of questions around when people are going to receive their COVID-19 stimulus checks. As of right now the best way to get a status update is to check on the IRS website. Applying for direct deposit (if you have an eligible account) may help to ensure your funds arrive on schedule and avoid potential delays related to mail.

  Im on ssi i get 783 a month i havent fiied a tax return in yrs didnt make enough money had to take care of my pops who had a bad stroke i cry as i write this please heip me it took me a long time to write this thankyou

  Hello Scott,

               We  are so sorry to hear about your father and we hope this response provides some ease. Per the IRS website Q&A, anyone that does not file taxes and receives SSI will automatically receive a payment of $1,200 and payments are expected to start in May.
